This Website lists spin-off companies (co-)founded by researchers of the University of Bern and the University of Zurich which are based on research carried out at these institutions.

The Universities of Bern and Zurich welcome and support the establishment of spin-off companies as a means for effective technology transfer. They provide support by

subsidizing educational seminars for entrepreneurs (Zurich only)
offering consulting services in defining the business idea and writing of the business plan
providing seed funding (Zurich only)
arranging contacts with appropriate investors
renting space and infrastructure (if available) to spin-off companies in the first few years.
