This Website lists spin-off companies (co-)founded by researchers of the Universities of Basel, Bern and Zurich which are based on research carried out at these institutions.

The Universities of Basel, Bern and Zurich welcome and support the establishment of spin-off companies as a means for effective technology transfer. They provide support by

subsidizing educational seminars for entrepreneurs
offering consulting services in defining the business idea and writing of the business plan
providing pre-seed funding
arranging contacts with appropriate investors
renting space and infrastructure (if available) to spin-off companies in the first few years.

Please note that the spin-off company lists for the different universities are not complete. They only comprise technology-driven companies that commercialize university technologies and only those companies that accepted to be listed.
